homeoSTASIS In blood pressure
Baroreceptors are key part of keeping our body in homeostasis. These are little particles that run through our body to send messages to our brain. Specifically to the medulla this acts as a signal then the body reacts to this whether its to lower the blood pressure or make it higher your body is trying to regulate its self. When your body is at its normal, it send a certain amount of baroreceptors every time so the brain knows its maintaining its homeostasis. When the blood pressure is higher more baroreceptors are sent to the body will react in a sympathetic state. When the blood pressure is lower its in a parasympathetic state to bring down the blood pressure. This will create balance with the Autonomic nervous system. Baroreceptors also sense changes in the blood pressure. They respond to the changes and send signals to the part of the brain called the Medulla oblongata.
Vasoconstrict and vasodialation
Vasoconstriction is the construction of blood vessels, this causes for the blood pressure to increase. Meanwhile vasodialation is the dilation of blood vessels in which this decreases blood pressure.
